恭喜发财! Roarrrr!

There are too many signs of tigers everywhere hence didi can now recognise the animal (errrr tiger = lion) and will do his baby-ish "Roaarrrr" when its is spotted or he is being prompted.

Our CNY holidays are always spent visiting relatives, collecting ang pows, accompanied by lots of snacking and some gaming. We love it as its one of the few occasions in the year where everyone in the extended family will gather together and play catch up with each other's lives. The significance, traditions and customs of this important festival should be passed on and fortunately, it appears that the kids are still enjoying the holiday, although it can be a rather tiring one.
The boys are the youngest over at mummy's extended family and there were hardly any young kids around. But they were extremely lucky to have the company of fun loving 姨姨和舅舅 (mummy's cousins with a wide age range of between 11 to late 30s),姑婆,叔公和婶婆 (grand-aunts and uncles). It was all so confusing for Kayden's little young mind when he has to greet the elders but they love to test his memory, confuse him further with dialect and put their self-esteem at risk by asking him if they are 姐姐/哥哥或是姨姨/舅舅. Hilarious!

Kayden on first day of CNY at 10+pm: Mummy, which house are we going now?
Mummy says: Our own house
Kayden: No mummy, which house now? Other house....
*silence......where do these little people get their energy from??*
