Kayden will never fail to remind papa to get him toys when he is away from home. He will ask the adults at home repeatedly (like a broken recorder at times) when his papa is returning and sometimes, we cannot help but wonder if its because of the present(s) or his presence. He has since picked up some maths and counting in school so for this trip, we have taught him to do a countdown. And just a while ago, he raised his right pinkie in front of mummy and asked "Papa coming back? 1 pinkie only?"
Tristan is happy as a king as long as he has his milk, porridge, familiar faces to keep him company at play and most importantly his PACIFIER! We really do need to start strategising to get rid of this dummy. He knows where to go if we ask him to look for his papa and he seems to know that his papa is away as he has ignored mummy's requests to look for papa lately.
And so....the person who misses all at home has been calling and messenging us to keep tabs on his sons' health (yes, both are still not fully recovered), updating us of his whereabouts and filling his luggage with many merry trinkets. The boys are ready to pounce on him once he and his treasure chest gets through the door tomorrow morning!
