Violin exam

K finally took his grade 1 exam on 9th September, the first day of the September school holidays. He had ample preparation time for the exams and on that day, he was relaxed and at ease although his folks were not as calm. After that 5 minutes or so trial, we were waiting anxiously for the results which we thought might be out before our holiday in Italy. It did not materialise and the results came through when we were out shopping at Florence's outlet mall! We love technology and free WIFI :) and no, the good news did not encourage us to spend more as we were already done for the day.

The boy's efforts and our "investment" paid off! Well, there is still a long road ahead and till  the next exam....
