The school organised the performance for the graduating K2 kiddos as a prelude to their graduation concert at the end of this year, a similar event which we attended 2 years ago for K. Tristan did well and appeared confident for both his English and Mandarin performances. He has been looking forward to "Readers' Theatre" and had difficulty keeping his character and his performance a hush hush affair at home. However, he did manage to keep the song (Sesame Street's Outdoors with Jason Mraz) a secret after the original song the children were performing was leaked!
"I will never ever tell you!", said the little guy firmly with the pointy finger and hand on waist.

After scrolling through the old posts, we finally confirmed that T had reprised K's performance back in 2012 as the second little horrid pig in "The Three Horrid Pigs & The Big Friendly Wolf" http://kaydentristan.blogspot.sg/2012/05/readers-theatre-performance-in-school.html What a coincidence!
That same warm fuzzy feeling was still there when the children performed and sang.....
He had the rest of the day off and was rewarded with a bowl of his favourite beef balls soup noodles at Nam Nam.
