The boys were sent to bed at 8:30pm last night (thankfully without fuss) to ensure they could wake at 6:15am this morning. K has been looking forward to going back to school and could hardly contain his excitement when he woke at 5:50am this morning! T has showed the same enthusiasm as well. He was all bright and chirpy this morning and even managed to finish the entire piece of cheese bread for breakfast.
Papa went to check out the chaotic situation during the P1 recess and had a hard time identifying T. He found him with his P6 buddy eventually with his wallet but without the water bottle. He was enjoying his chicken rice and it looked like he did adhere to our nagging to eat quickly!
With the usual chaos on first day, we were certainly not surprised when things go wrong. Papa was lurking near the gate observing the after-school pick up but he did not manage to spot T and K. He went over to the student care centre but no sign of the boys too. He finally spotted K the glutton, happily munching away on garlic toasts, strolling towards the gate. On the other hand, T the blurry one was finally found at the student care centre within the school! He also lost an eraser and a pencil sharpener.
The weekend break after the first day of school was much appreciated and we reminded T on a few important things such as pick up points, taking care of his belongings and the choice of food at the canteen before he started Day 2. But, when we were packing his schoolbag that night, we realised that he has left his colour pencils at the student care centre :( Another round of nagging went on that night.
