CNY 2018 - Year of the Dog

This year, we caught the ah Gou Gou singing bug and besides this song, we have also been singing along to a few CNY songs at home and during car rides. The littlest one loves singing now and it is always more fun when the whole family does it together, complete with hand gestures and body movements!

It has come full circle and our fiery dog at home is turning 12 this year! This is his milestone year and we truly hope he will pull himself together, channel his energy appropriately to strive for his goals.

We love celebrating Chinese New Year for all its tradition, feasting, bonding, dressing up and of course, the holidays. And for Reanne, she discovered the fun of watching lion dance performances such that she would get all excited when she hears the clash of the cymbals and drums and is now able to spot the decorated troupe truck from afar.

We did our usual visiting but we did take it a bit slower this year as the boys had to set aside some time over the long festive period to revise and prepare for the CAs which took place a day after school resumed.
