Kayden's first road trip to Malaysia

This was a very highly anticipated trip as it was Kayden's first trip to Malaysia as well as Papa's first attempt to drive in to Malaysia! Although it was just a 3 days 2 nights stay at Genting, the packing and preparation work started much earlier as we wanted to make sure we had everything Kayden needs for a short stay away from home.


Papa sent the car for servicing and even changed all the tyres, road maps were printed, a checklist of Kayden's essentials was on hand and we were almost there... except that he developed a slight fever couple of days before the BIG day! We kept our fingers crossed and were not disappointed as he did recover on the actual day!

Strumming in the hotel room

We made 3 stops on our way there and took about 6 hours to reach our destination. The weather was cool, hotel room was above expectations and spirits were high! Baby Kristy and family joined us shortly and we all had a sumptuous international buffet (courtesy of Kristy's godparents) on our first night. On the second day, Kayden & Kristy had great fun taking the indoor theme park rides with the mummies while the Daddies took on the role of photographers :)

Genting is real cool and Kayden will definitely be back for more thrilling fun rides! (but not so soon as the resident driver needs to recuperate and Kayden needs to meet the minimum height restrictions)
