We met up with your teachers for a mid-year chat and "heard" them for almost 1.5hours in both channels (5 & 8). The comments were kind of reassuring and the pictures and explanations by the teachers gave us a better picture of what you have been up to in school.
- gets along well with peers
- vocal and able to express yourself in both languages (in fact you are one of the noisest in class tsk tsk tsk)
- well-developed motor skills evidenced from play and games
- needs to be "encouraged" (so politically-correct haha) at times to complete crafts and activity sheets and there is a tendency to rush through them when distracted by play. But if you do put in the efforts and are in the right mood, we do notice that you have a rather unique colouring "technique" as you like to include lots and lots of colours for any single object or part of the object
- attention span has improved compared to last year
- enjoys songs and stories, able to answer and ask related questions and always a keen participant in activities
- expresses more interest in math
- a master with scissors; able to cut out small intricate patterns
- BUT you are still very emotional and sensitive
- behaves like a spoilt one as will scream and resort to laying face-down on ground when he does not get his way (horrible behaviour and needs to be educated before this happens in public and there are no paper bags at our disposal to cover our faces)
- continues to be our sunshine babe though still a drooling one
- bullies his big bother as he wants a piece of everything Kayden has
- still taking his time with speech but is able to gesture (nods, shakes head, points, makes slurpping sounds - for water and soup) to communicate his desires
- able to jump like a frog with continuous leaps (no mean feat for this age group; around 18th months old)
- favourite word = car
- favourite phrase = tu-tu issssshhh (please)
- best friend in the www (whole-wide-world) = tu-tu
