twenty ten 2010

The little baby of the family is growing up......much too fast, really. He is absorbing like a sponge and is a joy to be with him as he picks up new words, skills, tricks and gets acquainted with new taste. Although it can be extremely exasperating when he is throwing a tantrum, whiny, bullying his older brother or just at his worst behaviour, his cheeky sweet smiles, happy laughter, mis-pronounced words and adorable ways more than make up for these negative moments.

As the days go by, it has become more apparent that there are some obvious personality differences between the both of them. Whilst Kayden is boisterous (loud and lively) and warm in nature, Tristan is a bit more reserved as he needs some form of warm up when he is in unfamiliar grounds and with unfamiliar faces. He prefers to observe quietly, sometimes with smiles on his face and needs to be encouraged to join in even when others are having a great time participating.

We noted that Kayden was slow in speech and very selective when it came to food when he was around this age, but Tristan has outdone his brother in both categories as he is even slower in both aspects. We know, it must be the genes.
HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY! Just for records sake, you are now....
