The last time we were on this, K wanted to be a fire-engine driver as he thought it was cool to be behind a big vehicle and he will stand by his vehicle while the fire-fighters do their job. Kids are fickle-minded and god knows when he changed his mind, but he wants to be a policeman now. He is counting down to the new channel 8 drama as the trailers have shown that it is somewhat centered around policemen and he loves that male actor. He told us this morning to our surprise that there is only 1 more day to the start of the show! This must be the result TV overdose...... we really need to cut down!
Little T has no real ambition at the moment and is just happy going lucky. He will nod or say yes to whatever occupation or position you ask of him. But we take heart that he is clearer about gender now and knows that HE IS A BOY, compared to just a few weeks ago. Following last month's feedback from his teacher, we have reinforced the colour recognition learning at home on an almost daily basis but efforts will have to continue. However, he has certainly progressed in his speech as he is now speaking in short sentences rather coherently.
The show will only be aired on Tuesday and K was disappointed when he was told! Arrrrghhh!
