"Can I have a pet?"

He finally popped the question but he was not asking for the cuddly dog/puppy which his papa had been hoping for.

K: Can I have a pet?
Papa: You already have a fish....(actually that's papa's fishes)
K: I want to have a bird...I will feed the bird with nuts and give it water. I want a blue jay.
Papa: You can feed the fish....

K: But it must have legs

Papa: Why don't I get you a chair as a pet? It has legs too!

After much laughter and further discussion on the ideal pet (irrational ones like elephant, zebra, snake, shark etc, were eliminated), he asked for the hermit crab which he saw at one of the pet shops a while ago.

Mummy said she will think about it.... and he said "I think can!"
