Boy fashion

Recent reports about the dress sense, size and price tag of celebrity offsprings prompted this record.

Regretfully, we are boys and we dress like (commonfolk) boys in every sense of the word. Papa frowns and shakes his fingers if mummy has the slightest notion to cross-dress us or even try to put something fancy on us. We really do lower the fun quotient in shopping for mummy as papa will "bulk-buy" and snag the good deals when he is overseas and back in SG, mummy only gets to choose between tees, shorts and shirts in varying colours and length, or thereabouts.

Our parents believe in the wonderful idea of recycling and welcome hand-me-downs. When Kayden outgrows his clothes, Tristan takes over....and now that we are almost similar in build, we share almost everything in the wardrobe!

We are no fashionistas and label kings but we do like to have a say in what we wear at times. There are days when we will argue and fight to wear that same tee (i.e. Transfomers or Ben 10 character) to school! These are the times when our parents wished we are not "uniform-free". But, we do get better mileage from all our clothes and there is no need for multiple sets of uniforms and no rush to get them laundered at all.

To sum it up, here's our fashion statements:
1) We practically live in our Crocs even though the parents know that it is not exactly the safest form of footwear and... what are socks??

2) We love it when it rains as we can put on the rainboots!

3) We do not comb our hair at all!

4) We do have a few sets of matchy-matchy brotherly tops for identity's sake.

5) Our parents think we are most fashionable when we are in our well-worn PJs and all ready for Zzzzzzzz.
