This boy cannot wait to grow older, has been waiting eagerly for his birthday for months and you can just imagine the excitement he felt as the date drew closer. We knew he almost lost his patience at some point as he watched his candle-blowing and cake-cutting friends in school.
"Mummy today is the first day of July!" - the moment he opened his eyes"xx more days to my birthday!" - the regular countdown from months and down to the days
We witnessed his joy when he celebrated his birthday in school with his little brother, classmates, gang of rowdy boyfriends and dearest teachers. It puzzles us as regular folks around our age do not really look forward to being older on an annual basis but seeing how proud and happy K was to finally turn 5 and his declaration that he is now a "big" boy just puts a smile on our faces.
