Contemplating...

This picture was drawn by K in early October, just shortly after he told us that he would like to learn to play the violin. The request came as a surprise as your folks have kind of discussed and concluded much earlier on that picking up music and learning an instrument is not exactly your cup of tea.

Knowing that you are more outgoing in nature and has hardly expressed any interest in arts or music, we cannot help but doubt if this is just a sudden whim. Learning music requires patience, perseverance, time, resources and flair to a certain extent. We are trying to assess your real interest before plunging into this but at the same time, we know that we should not deny you of this learning opportunity.
