There were so many considerations, checks, worries (reported kidnapping cases) and much planning before the trip. But time seems to pass by real quick after the trip was firmed as not long after, we were counting down by the day and hour. Just when we thought the packing was almost complete, everyone was surprised that the stroller which we presumed was hibernating in the storeroom was nowhere to be found! The folks kept their cool as it dawned on them that they will just have to go with the flow, brace themselves for the amount of gruelling physical activity they will be undertaking and try to enjoy the "holiday" as much as they can.
22- 27 October 2011
1) Boarding and onboard
- K deserved mention for his outstanding behaviour throughout flight.
- T had thumbtacks stucked on his butt for his first flight but was still manageable.

- Boys were enthusiastic and energetic.
- K was thrilled with the water slide (went twice) but T was in shock after that.
- Spotting the animals (seals, sealions, red and giant pandas) and birds (macaws and toucans) were fun but the highlight was the aquarium.

3) "This is the life!" - exclaimed K when we checked into the hotel room
- Given a choice, they would love to laze in the hotel all day long with the TV, aircon, snacks, toys and comfy beds.
- The almost daily routine - soaking in the tub was their favourite activity!

4) Roaming the streets
- Shopping and eating were definitely not their thing and we kept them to a "bare minimum"...but hey, this is HK you know! Sigh :(
- Our limbs (8 legs) started to ache by Day 3 from all the walking and carrying (too bad its not the shopping bags).
- K had a ferorious appetite but T was at his fussiest. There was noticeable weight loss by the end of the trip.
- The boys enjoyed themselves and lasted the whole day without any nap.
- They loved the parade (K even joined in at some point) and the shows.
- T was more subdued but the ever-energetic and cheeky K (smacking of Donald Duck's butt, cheering the performers and dancing along) was around to lift up the spirits for us and for some others too!
