Readers' Theatre performance in school

Due to the HFMD episode in March, this long overdue performance was postponed and only happened on 25 Apr (Wed). A huge group of supportive parents, grandparents and siblings turned up in full force that day to catch the 1.5 hours bilingual performance put up by these young thespians. Although there was no proper stage, elaborate costumes and props, it was still a good show as we witnessed how they have transformed from little tots with limited vocabulary to group of confident and articulate K2 kids. They ended the performance with a combine rendition of "Somewhere out there" by all 3 classes. It really dawned on a lot us how grown up they all seem now.

This was also a prelude to the big graduation concert that is scheduled in November and as parents, we were also alerted with respect to the amount of preparation, number of rehearsals and the cost ($) this was going to take and were also advised to avoid long holidays in the last quarter of the year so that the children will not miss any photoshoots, recordings and rehearsals. Looks like there will certainly be a clash with our plans to go away during the Sept-Oct period.
