In the 2 weeks leading up to the competition, he reminded us to send him for the extra training sessions during weekdays and is never too tired for these classes. We witnessed the commitment from the instructors (Teacher Merly said she will cry if he didn't win) and tried our best to fit into these schedules and thankfully, the school is within walking distance from home.
He is still very much in love with the sport and we believe that besides having fun during classes, it is also the participation in demostrations and competititon that has kept him going. There is certainly a competitive streak in him that pushes him to give off his best and he is very much aware that he is recognised for his efforts. Well done, boy!
