Say and do in June

Kayden was chatting and eating with his friends after a good game of tug-of-war at Donavan's birthday party and was overhead saying: Do you know why our team never move and they cannot tug and pull? (Paused for his friends to answer) Its because of me. (very matter-of-factly).

There was a round of chuckling from the adults and mummy was told to jot this down.

Quite a number of his friends were very serious during the game and they went all out to win while T was just barely touching the rope and was always observing and grinning at the fringe while games were played.

K was named "Best Dancer" as he did some funky feet shuffling moves (picked up from the older TKD demo team members)  and attempted break-dancing during the dance and freeze game.

Tristan wore a Campbell soup tee and when asked what kind of soup is it, "mushroom? chicken?",  he said: "Papa says I am tao huey...because I am not strong!

He is always teased for being soft as he is naturally fairer and is not toned like K who swims and trains in TKD. But, this will soon go away as we have just sign him up for swimming. Besides us, Ms Joi also observed lately that he is more participative during waterplay and we all reckoned he is finally ready for the pool.

He has mastered the concept of "Yesterday", "Today" and "Tomorrow" and practices it when it comes to the daily sleeping arrangements,
"Yesterday who sleep (slept) in mummy's bed?"
"Today I sleep in mummy's bed, ok?"
"Tomorrow gorgor sleep in mummy's bed."

K is old enough to understand that this is the holiday season as quite a number of his friends were away from school. We stayed home this June hols as mummy is just too overwhelmed at work. They had to make do with East Coast Park and Madagascar 3 (first movie for T). However, we shall make up for it in July with a staycation.
