K had a great birthday celebration with all his classmates in school on his birthday. Although it was not a birthday party technically, it was a birthday celebration in class complete with a Ninjago pinata (improvised by dear Papa), an awesome Ninjago fondant cake (specially sourced and customised by mummy's ex-colleague), goodie bags with little packs of Lego and Ninjago biscuits specially baked for the occasion!
His beaming happy face and all the other excited little faces we saw that day made all the preparation work and mad rush during the day all so worth it.
We had a simple family dinner at home to wrap up this happy day where everyone filled their tummies with the goodness of nasi-lemak and sinful hawker fare. When it was time to make his birthday wish, he touched our hearts by saying " I wish my family will always be near me!"
