Holidaying @ Bintan Club Med

26th - 29th August 2012

The count down to this holiday started after the reservations were made and the boys were feeling quite excited about the trip after hearing so much about the activities and fun they could be indulging in.

The boys rated the experience beyond 10 on the scale of 1 to 10 and K was already telling us he wanted to return when we were just on the way out of the village. K joined the mini club activities and had so much fun with them such that he did not even want to join us for meals! He befriended Keita, a 7-year old spunky japanese boy and both of them had a great time together and were deemed as "best friends" during the short stay. K's favourite activity was archery and we participated as a family too.

K was a nervous wreck during his Ist attempt
K's favourite activities
T joined the petite club and had separation anxiety each morning but was always happy at the end of the day. He loved the resort pool and enjoyed just frolicking there and playing the "Mr Shark" game and if he had his way, we would have become dried prunes after all the trip. As he is still under 4, he was not able to go on the tight-rope and trapeze, nor try out archery.

Performance, a new pal and water time!
The boys outdid themselves during the Tuesday night talent show by going all out with their dance performance. T surprised ALL of us as he is rather shy in front of strangers and was just standing rather still during the rehearsal in the afternoon. However, he transformed during the actual performance and was the best dancer among the little ones as he walked bravely onstage and struck various poses and followed the dance moves! K and his friend Keita went on stage to demostrate their Karate and TWD kicks and were certainly the most enthusiastic dancers among the mini club kids.

Porpor came along to feast on the all day long sumptuoous spread but lost her voice during the trip. In fact, all of us put on some weight after all the feasting.
