Poom belt!

He finally received his first Poom after more than 2 years of training! The journey has been great as K has been thoroughly in love with the sport from Day 1 (Dec 2010). Besides the weekly training sessions, the fun he has with the coaches and other kids and the friendships that have been formed, he also loves participating in the competitions. No complaints at all for the extra sessions and if he has his way, he would be at the club almost everyday.

He is still tiny for his age and belt colour but he impresses us with his confident delivery of the patterns and kicks.  When we see the petite little ones who have just started training, we would be reminded of his cute little self just 2 years ago.

We have made it through the first half of P1 as today is the last day of school for K! For the self-discipline and motivation to excel that he has displayed in school and at home, we do believe that part of it is attributable to the the TWD training he has received.
