The other July activities- flea market and 25th anniversary carnival

July was a busy month and even though we have already moved on to August, we must not forget about the fun we had selling our wares at the neighbourhood flea market and the 25th anniversary carnival that had us travelling all the way to the west.

For the flea market, papa mooted the idea of having the kids organised and sold their books and CDs in a bid to boost their educational funds. There was no price tag and along the way, the boys met a few very encouraging adults who supported their cause! It was a long day but we were pleasantly surprised by our overall sales.

We hardly hang out in the west but had fun when we made our way to the Canadian International School's Lakeside campus for the carnival last saturday late afternoon. The boys enjoyed the games, Kayden spoke to some of his ex-teachers and we used up part of the coupons on food that were going at "half-price" towards the end of the carnival.
