One of the key highlights (besides the 2 birthday parties we attended today) for this September school holidays was the visit to River Safari last sunday. The boys have been looking forward to seeing Jia Jia and Kai Kai and they were not disappointed. Both pandas made their appearances and we had our fill as we made 2 trips to their enclosure to see them.
Papa managed to get the heavily discounted tickets at $10 each for all 9 of us, including the grandparents and the 2 aunties and it was certainly great value for money compared to the normal priced tickets. Although the pandas were the main attraction, the boys had spotting the amazonia rainforest animals and we were pleasantly surprised by the huge manatees tank towards the end of the visit.
