Tristan's stories

The little boy is growing up so quickly while we try to enjoy and capture his last pre-school year - the morning ride to school, the choosing of outfits for school, the excitement during waterplay sessions, field trips and performances.

As he grows, he is also being taught about the important values and attitudes in life including honesty, independence and to do his best. He lied 2 weeks ago on a school day as he wanted to bring some playing cards to school to show his friends and was severely punished for it. We hope he has learnt his lesson just like how Kayden did last year when he lied to his teacher about a playful episode that happened during a recess.

This was Tristan's first journal entry right after the class excursion to Chinatown and certainly worth "journalling" for our records.

"We went to Chinatown by bus. We also buy sweets and decorations. We also ate bread and ham. I like the food. I like the trip."

We just finished practising his show and tell for this coming friday whereby he would be sharing a fairy tale he has read to his friends. It was fun as he stood on a stool and shared his story with us and it came as a surprise when K shared his detailed scoring board with us thereafter and signed off as "Sergeant Ong". Hilarious!
