Yeah! Tristan has done it! The little guy was thrilled and happy to own his first coloured belt. The next grading would involved more difficult moves and steps and he would definitely need to put in more efforts.
As it was the Halloween weekend, the kids were encouraged to dress up for the occasion and the school was all ready to help those who were "dressed down", like the boys, with a variety of props too. Hearts were won and calories were piled on with their basket of candy treats too.
Although Kayden is taking a mandatory break from grading for the time-being, he is busy training for the national sparring competition in end November and the biggest challenge for him at this moment is - weight control! We would never have believed this just a couple of years ago when all we wanted was for him to put on some weight!
