Summing it up for 2014

A pic of the brothers on T's concert day - 26 Nov
We really cannot believe how fast time has passed as the year-end holiday season is already here, K has received his results for P2 and is all ready for P3, T is done with his K2 graduation concert and baby is arriving in a matter of days!

For K, he has done fairly well academically and had managed to catch up somewhat during the second half of this year. As he moves on to P3, school load is expected to be heavier and he would need to be more conscientious and consistent, that is, no more slacking like the first half of P2. His greatest achievement this year is undoubtedly his "Class Model Pupil for Term 3" award for his overall good behaviour. He has just started Grade 4 for his violin and would be facing a fair amount of new challenges and frustrations in this area. Otherwise, he is still having fun with his taekwondo sessions and friends and happy as a lark in school.

K took part in his first sparring competition recently and won himself a silver! The training was tough and weight management was his biggest issue in the weeks leading up to the competition. We were all glad that he managed to stay within his 28kg weight category on competition day.

For T, Ms Jo shared that he has "improved tremendously in his usage of sight words, vocabulary and fluency of his story". Her late night message came as a wonderful surprise and we are most thankful to her for his developments. T's confidence shows, has enjoyed his final year at the pre-school and was so enthusiastic about his concert that it was simply beyond him to keep what he was going to do a secret despite the teachers' reminders. However, he did manage to stay tight-lipped about his finale song and performance.

"Mummy, I am so happy that my concert is tomorrow!"
"Mummy, it is my concert  today!"

The graduation concert performance was AWESOME! We enjoyed it so much and was so proud of him and his friends.
L-R: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Act 4; Backstage; T as emperor's guard in chinese act; Tristan as Jeremy Potts
Baby is now 37.5 weeks in utero and weighed in at 2.9 kg last friday! We are all counting down to her arrival by the end of the week and it appears that she is going to be "leading the pack" in terms of weight.
