Baby Reanne's first month

Luncheon with family, relatives and friends to celebrate Reanne's first month
18th January 2015 (Sunday)

Our family members, relatives and some of papa and mummy's friends gathered for lunch to welcome Reanne and celebrate her full month, a chinese tradition, which we have maintained just like for K & T. Besides the delicious and spicy catered peranankan food, there was also the swiss rolls and ang ku kueh we were bought, the red eggs and glutinuous rice which were made by the doting grandmother.

Gong-gong carrying Reanne for the first time and showering her with his blessings. Gong-gong says it bodes well to have a grand-daughter as his first grandchild and finally, a youngest grand-daughter to wrap things up :)

As we were all too busy catching up with everyone, there was simply no time for photos (as usual) but we were lucky to have this pic of the little gal in her complete get-up for the day.

There was quite a big group of children and hence the older brothers had a good time with them but this did not deter them from their repeated requests to hit the pool. They finally got their wish in the late afternoon when most of the guests have already left.
L-R: Wk 1 - 2.85kg when discharged; Wk 2 - Becoming more alert; Wk 3 - A pic with mummy's Christmas crystal; Wk 4 - Feeding well and gaining weight
