We made it through the first 4 days of festivities!

| Our first family portrait with Reanne |
We were out of the house for almost the whole day on the first day of chinese new year for house visiting and got home only at 9:30pm with baby R in tow. She was so tired out as she only managed to take short naps amidst all the chatter and background noise at the various homes. By the second day, Reanne seemed to have become less overwhelmed by the unfamiliar faces and surroundings and we all had mini breaks as she was carried and passed around from one aunt to the another. This latest edition within both our extended families is definitely the "star attraction" this CNY.
The boys overdosed on snacks and cold drinks throughout the 4 days and had unlimited playtime on tablets and handphone games (tsk tsk tsk)! With all the free channels available on cable TV and lots of Jackie Chan classics, they have enjoyed quite a few movies too. Both of them were very eager to tabulate their ang pow takings and had already done an interim count on Day 2. They were understandably reluctant to go home and to bed early last night. There are still a couple more house visits this coming weekend which we might have to give it a miss due to the boys' busy social and lesson schedules.
May the Year of the Goat bless our family with great health, prosperity and happiness!
