Tristan's mid-year mini concert

Tris has moved on from Yamaha's JMC to the Junior Electone Course since the beginning of this year. He was not enthusiastic about his progression as it meant that it was going to be more difficult, more practices are needed and he would need to attend classes independently. However, Mrs Tan did advise parents to stay with the kids for a few more months as the class has a mix of K2s and P1s and it was obvious that some of the P1s like Tris was not ready to go independent at the beginning of the year as well.

That said, he has gone solo for a month already. Although he is cheeky and not very attentive in class, the teacher has commented that he is able to follow and adapt to the pace of the class on his own. Phewwww!

We did not expect Tris to be able to continue for this long (2.5 years) and are pleasantly surprised by this boy's musical developments. We know that if he is given a choice, he would gladly stop lessons so that he could spend his time idling or playing.

The littlest family member attended last week's class performance and lasted for close to an hour in class!
