Reanne @ 7 months

Our happy pill turns 7 months tomorrow and we hold the unbiased view that she must be one of the cutest baby around! She hit many milestones this month, including, crawling, sitting, feeding and she had her first swim during the Hari Raya public holiday.

Auntie Sujiah started her potty training when she turned 6 months with no resistance from this little babe at all. We are starting slow but if we are in luck, she may just go diaper-free by 1.5 years old like Tristan.

She was rocking on the spot on all fours for 3 weeks or so but has started moving on all fours few days ago. The coordination has not been perfected but she has certainly reached the intermediate stage and we are bracing ourselves that she would be crawling all over the house at lightning speed very soon! Just today, we noticed that she has tried to pull herself up many times to reach her desired objects.

Reanne is now (couple days ago) able to sit rather steadily.

She has been very focused with specific targets which are typically forbidden such as remote controls, the breast pump, mobile phones and pencil cases while ignoring safer options and her own toys which we always try to offer. These days, she voices her displeasure by wailing and whining through her pursed lips if she does not get her way. And if she is fast enough, you will hear her cute babyish squeal of delight.

Our little babe loves porridge and is always so excited during her lunch feed such that she would lurch forward and move her hands about when she spots the  bowl and spoon.

Her weight gain has stagnated at 8kg as she prefers to crawl and stand with support to sitting and lying down. As long as she is feeding and playing well, all of us are as happy as we could be. She is such a joy to everyone of us and we are not exaggerating when we put it down that her big brothers are smitten with her too!

Growing through the days and weeks...potty training, new toy, dressed up for Tris gorgor's class performance & the after-bath baby Darth

First dip - Nervous and tense and did not smile at all until she was out of the pool and all wrapped up!
