Barclays Asia Trophy 2015 - Go Arsenal!
We had so much fun cheering for Arsenal as a family during the final match of the Barclays Asia Trophy 201 on 18th July. The experience at the new stadium was fantastic, the huge crowd of Arsenal fans and their cheers were electrifying and doing the Kallang wave there and then was fun for the 3 of us who were watching our first live soccer match!
Kayden spent a good $80 of his savings on Arsenal merchandise (scarf, backpack and keychain) and the Papa spent another sum on jersey and tees. The boys were there in the afternoon to support the Singapore team and we walked home with the crowd way past 10pm that night. We hope this would be a memorable experience for the boys and one which they would relish and not forget as they continue to watch many more future live soccer matches in time to come.
As McDonalds was crowded, we went home and had instant noodles at 1130pm (which we enjoyed thoroughly) for supper instead -another first for the boys!
