Tris dressed up for Book Character Day as "Harry" in Patrick Yee's The Early Years of Mr Lee Kuan Yew - Harry Grows Up. That tie is vinatge as it dates back to more than 20 years ago from papa's JC days and was handed down by his older sister!
Tris also scored his first trophy! His team won a bronze for the SG EM (Speak good english campaign) for their story-telling efforts for their level!
Tris collected his upgraded green belt with blue tip on 15th August too! He cruised through the grading as he had already put in a lot of efforts for the national poomsae that took place couple of weeks earlier.
For Teachers' Day in early September, the boys showed their appreciation for all their teachers with goodie bags, cookies and a basket full jam pack with goodies for their team of Taekwondo coaches at Induk!
Kayden scored a gold medal at his first National TWD Kyorugi Championships on 5th Sep. He went through 3 bouts, including a harrowing "sudden death" competing round with his competitor during the second bout. His final bout was just as exciting and memorable as he beat his competitor with a 3-pointer back thrust kick!
He was so excited about his final bout as it was the first time he had executed the kick successfully in the competitions. Excellent job!
