The boys at 9 & 7

Being busy is an understatement in the household these days as we go about the daily routine, make time for those ad-hoc classes, training and events, tend to the needs of the babe, eat, shop, play and of course, work! Yes, we are late in documenting K's birthday this year but we did not forget about that day.

Ice-cream cake and cheese sausage stringed with spaghetti (his special request)

Dinner & dessert with the gang @ SandBank
Such a big boy now and in every sense of the word as he is very independent, likes to make his own decisions and can be rather stubborn and set in his ways and loves to direct his younger brother around. He is such a good helper to have around when we are out as he takes it as his responsibility to help carry the baby bag and stuff, handle the stroller, unlock doors and could be very unhappy if his role is usurped!

We almost did not manage to celebrate T's birthday as he was vomitting and running a fever the day before his birthday. The dinner gathering at home was postponed to the following day (wednesday) as he had requested for his nasi lemak and chicken curry which he really should not be eating as he was sick. However, we were so glad he felt much better on his birthday and was well enough to get out of the house for a dinner celebration. His appetite was not great and still had a mild temperature but he managed to finish his penne with cream sauce kids set.

It has been quite a challenging year for T as he needed more time to adjust to the P1 routine and he had to grapple with the fact that he has to be more independent and responsible. The constant drilling tires everyone but he has definitely improved over the months. He adores his baby sister and is very sweet and loving towards her. R brightens up immediately whenever he calls out to her and laughs at his funny faces.

The sickly birthday boy but still game for a picture; cake-cutting and candle-blowing in progress!
