He woke up at 5:30am all excited and got mummy and papa up early as he started to dress up for the event. We DIY-ed his Harry Potter look and only bought the black-rimmed specs for him to complete it! We were shocked and surprised when he was interviewed and featured by The New Paper.
Here's what Kayden had to say - "One of the highlights of the event (at least for mummy and papa) was definitely the delicious and creative dessert table! We were busy snacking on the wide assortment of sweet treats such as the Golden Snitch (which was actually a dressed-up Ferrero Roche choc), the broomsticks (pretz stick with crunchy bits which we were clueless about). There was also Butter Beer which was the icing on the cake!"
The school held their annual book character day in mid-August and this time, Tristan wanted to dress up as Harry Potter too. He had just finished reading the first book a while ago. This was easy-peasy for us as we had everything from just a few weeks ago! We omitted the tie this time but little Tris still managed to look the part as he joined the rest of his classmates where quite a few of them dressed up as characters from the Avengers. In fact, this was his second time as "Harry", but a very different book character from last year.
