It has been more than a month since Pokemon Go was downloaded onto papa's phone and mummy relented days later. The 3 boys in the family are still very much in the game as they had just rushed out of the house yesterday evening (sunday), with lil Reanne just to catch some Pokemon that has surfaced in the neighbourhood!
The boys said they they had the
best day ever at the end of their Gotta Catch Them All outing on 5 Sep, planned by the equally crazy papa pokemon hunter. The boys have not displayed such enthusiasm and spontaneity for photographs for the longest time!

| From Changi Village to MacRitchie Reservoir to Vivocity City they went! |
As it was the September school holidays, they were given permission to continue with the Pokemon Go fever and household conversations were peppered with names of these little monsters and technical lingo of the game. When it was time for our staycation at Sentosa's Siloso Beach Resort on friday, the boys could not contain their excitement as they could not wait to get hold of the Pikachus and rare Pokemons which have been sighted and reported.
Sentosa did not disappoint! We had a great time at the island as everyone was kept occupied all the time. While the boys were busy with their Pokemon game, mummy was busy with the rarest Pokemon of all that was with us.......Reanne-mon!

| At the USS - including all best attempt in taking a family this trip ;p |
We put the USS annual passes to good use as we visited USS twice during the 3D2N stay, including watching 2 Sesame Street shows (she fell asleep before the show started the first time) for Reanne's sake. On the second day of the stay, the boys had a memorable time at iFly, followed by multiple Luge and Sky rides. Unfortunately, a minor accident happened to Reanne when mummy and K were walking back to the hotel with her. She woke up on the way sat up in the pram where her hair got entangled with the battery-operated mini fan that was clipped onto the pram. Mummy had difficulties entangling her hair and had to make the decision to snip her hair off using the food scissors that was in the backpack as a quick solution. That helped to put a stop to poor Reanne's traumatising cries which attracted the attention passersby.
We had a very comfortable (2 adjourning rooms) and enjoyable the stay at Siloso Beach Resort even though it was rather rundown as compared to the its former facilities when we were there in
2009. Tris did not want to leave the hotel bed and kept wanting to go back to the room and we loved our time at the pool.
As godma and family were putting up at Rasa Sentosa from saturday afternoon, we dropped by after our dinner at Coastes and went back again for a swim before we left the island on sunday afternoon, physically spent but in a great way. Thank goodness there was the Hari Raya Haji public holiday on monday for us to recuperate from the post-holiday blues.
