Singapore Heritage Festival @ Caldecott

Mummy has been a TV addict growing up and being the channel 8 variety shows and drama serial junkies which the family are now, we would not want to miss the chance to experience this heritage walk at Caldecott.

This outing was a great circuit breaker for the boys who were studying for their mid-terms then. We braved the humidity on a late saturday afternoon to join the crowd and even had to do a mini trek up around the private estate to reach the event venue. It was no big deal as we had such a good time.

We got to touch the props, checked out the sets and scenes of familiar dramas, squealed at how the props looked so real on television, took lot of photos, experienced filming ,walked around the flea market stalls and enjoyed some yummy snacks within an open air compound within the premise.

Arising from this flea market experience, the boys had a new appreciation of the value of old stamps and coins and had fun flipping through papa's old collection when we came home. They also checked out their grandpapa's collection the day after!
