How the littlest of the family is coping

Reanne and her tau huay zwee during saturday morning
breakfast cum grocery runs
Reanne caught the dreaded HFMD on the first weekend we returned from Hong Kong after spending 1 day in school. She had it real bad as was uncomfortable and could not eat and drink for 2 days. It took slightly more than a week before she was well enough to go back school. We have expected that her immunity would be threatened once she starts going to school but are still rather upset that she has fallen sick so frequently and had even caught HFMD.

She has only attended school for 2 days this week and is currently recovering from a viral infection that was brought on runny nose, sore throat and a nasty cough. And this happened just hours after mummy and papa were rejoicing at work on Tuesday as there was no tears and all smiles during morning check-in at the school. Yes, we jinxed it!

At 2 years and 4 months now, we find it so hard to keep up with her developments and we would just miss it if we are not observant enough as she is picking things up like a sponge these days. We find joy with her little antics and are amazed at times with how fast she seems to be growing.

-Puts on her own shoes just after her 2 YO birthday and these days, she will pick and choose what she wants to wear, including the too big for her pair of Mickey Melissa papa splurge on.

-Speaking in sentences and able to recognise colours and shapes.

-Loves singing though out of tune sometimes and would break out in song on her own while playing.

-Rather observant and has good recall as she would speak about or ask for things that she has seen a days before. We walked by Christofori and she pointed out that "gorgor is here". She still remembers porpor and would associate wheelchairs with her - "porpor chair".
