Reanne @ 2 yrs 9 mths

She is chattering or singing most of the time now. This is such an adorable, entertaining and yet frustrating stage of her toddler years. The family is so tickled by what she says and does most of the time and we dare say that these moments would somehow more than offset those toddler tantrums.

1) When the lectures are ongoing

When the oldest brother was reprimanded by the papa one evening for the state of mess the study room was in.

Reanne tilted her head and checked on her brother while papa went on and on... "Gor gor, are you okay? Are you sad?"

The brother was trying his best to avoid laughing out loud at the cute sister's questions.

Sometimes, she would state it matter-of-factly while carrying her beloved bear and watching TV that "Papa is angry."

2) When she finds the bros missing in the mornings

With all the time and fun that we spent together on weekends and school holidays, she still has difficulty going to school in some mornings. On some mornings, she would wake up looking for her brothers and wailing when she finds them missing.

"I want gorgor! I want find gorgor!"

Now, she gets pushed to school in the mornings on her tricycle and mummy would accompany her if she could get herself changed and ready for school early enough. The morning walk is short but she enjoys watching the morning traffic and pointing out the neighbourhood dogs, cats, birds, and the garbage bins (we have no idea why she loves to do that).

3) Reanne loves to sing

We keep our fingers crossed that she would enjoy music. At this age, she loves to sing and would burst out in mandarin and english rhymes and tunes randomly.

We love hearing her and would join in and have fun with her but depending on her mood, she may stop us at times.

"Mummy you dont sing okay."
"Gorgor! No...dont sing!"
