We have been taking turns to visit the doctor lately and are trying to build up everyone's immunity at the same time. The boys have been taking supplements along the way for that extra boost though not on a daily basis. Some worked, some didnt and others were probably just healthier treats as the marketers represent that they are enriched with this vitamin and that mineral.
Kids being kids, they love (especially Tristan) those gummies and sweet treats and will
beg ask for them on a regular basis. Recently, a really nice colleague of mummy carted back 2 big bottles of gummy bears from her US trip and the boys were elated! This should last them for a while.
However, when it comes to the serious ones like cod liver oil and DHA supplements, they have differing preferences and reactions. T loves the the top left bottle and goes "Mmmmm...." but K will make a face and try to wriggle his way out. But, he impressed us a few days ago with his sensibility when he said "I don't like this but I want to be clever so I will quickly swallow it."
Having said that, K loves chinese herbs and medicine and is even able to take those which are less than pleasant smelling and tasting in his stride. We know how different they are and hence, it is not surprising when we have to struggle to feed the younger one with herbs and such.
