We spent a memorable evening at Jubilee Hall as we caught a wonderful performance put up by this little boy and his friends at their graduation concert. The props, stage design, costume, music, script and most importantly, the children and their teachers were truly amazing! Although they were just a bunch of 6 year-olds, the details they went into for the whole performance, the songs, dance and pre-recorded lines of the entire musical performance was beyond our expectations.
There has been so much anticipation leading to this day and K was so excited that he could not even take his usual afternoon nap that day. But, prior to that mummy had a mild shock when Ms Jo called her on Friday afternoon telling her that K was having a fever. Imagine the surprise from the call as he was certainly fine that morning and more importantly, we had been taking extra steps to ensure he will be fit and well for his Big Day and the Primary 1 orientation on Saturday morning. We thanked our lucky stars that he managed to recover in time on Saturday.
When asked if he was glad the concert is finally over, he said no as he enjoyed the rehearsals and the process was fun even though there were lots of scolding and executed penalties from the teachers during the process. The numerous "excursions" to Raffles Hotel arranged for the K2s exclusively was also memorable to him.
