Has it been 6 months already?!?!
Our little babe has grown so much and so fast - too fast for us!
At 6 months, she has broken the record to teeth (3 tiny teeth to boot while the fourth upper central incisor looks ready to sprout anytime soon*) and crawl the earliest and has starting solids at 5.5 months. At the date of this post, the little razors of the 4th one had already cut through her gums!
She has been on a milk strike for the last couple of weeks and we have to be really patient when it comes to feeding time. The good news is that she has taken a liking to avocado and brown rice cereals. Apple puree is a hit too.
These days, she tends to cry out loud at night when she wants to be soothe but we take heart that this is not a daily ritual we have to battle with.
When she gets enough sleep, she is very generous with her bright smiles and cute chuckles and is the best thing to greet you and come home to. She adores her brothers and will offer them her baby laughter in return for their efforts. She has a bit of stranger anxiety since she was about 5 months old and would take some time to warm up to faces which are not that familiar including her dearest grandpa and aunt.
She started crawling by lifting her body on 15th June and it only took her 2 days to really lift up her upper torso and use her forearms to crawl. She is still trying to master her technique at crawling but we are seeing her improvements everyday and she is now able to lift up her whole body using her knees and arms for a few seconds!
