Your tiny tooth finally sprouted in the first week of June (just shy of 5.5 months) and the second one followed suit within the next day or so. You have been gumming and biting on anything you have accessed to but you would always go back to your favourite little teething toy.
Teething woes are common and you have not been sleeping that well lately. Earlier this week, we heard very obvious teeth grinding sounds coming from your mouth and to our surprise, the upper central incisor has sprouted too!
Babe, you now hold the record to start teething the earliest compared to your older bros.
We have started giving you semi-solids last weekend as we thought you might be ready now that you have your little teeth and you have been staring at us munching and eating away with interest for quite some time.
Mummy splurged on organic (no less) pumpkin for your first feed but you were totally unappreciative from your cringes and swipes. You finally regurgitated most of it after 3 baby spoonfuls. We were undaunted and fed you brown rice cereal mixed with breastmilk the next day but you were not too keen on that too. We are starting slow and simple and are still trying with brown rice cereal and the remaining pumpkin with little progress. Perhaps we might fare better with a change of menu.
