Papa's boy

"Papa" was one of Kayden's first words and since then....it has been one of his favourite words! He was muttering "papa" over and over again as he pointed to the WINDOWS logo and handphone on the table as I had sat him down on my lap while typing this entry.

This boy is infatuated with his papa - runs to him first whenever we enter the room together, calls or shouts for him when he sees him (yes, ignoring his mummy), loves it when his papa brings him for breakfast strolls, swings him around, throws him in the air....

For the last couple of months, he also started associating items and logos with his dear papa, as though his father owns a conglomerate - POSB, DBS, M1, HSBC, MASTERCARD, VISA & StarHub etc! And if we walk him to the crackers and chips isle at the supermarket/provision shop, the papa chant will start again as he takes in the sight of all the countless packets of munchies. He misses his father when he travels for work and has learnt to pick up the phone to initiate a call. And yes, he likes to sit on his pa pa's lap when his papa is reading the newspapers.

He is definitely the apple of his papa's eye! Little boy, you might want to try asking your papa for the stars hahaha.....
