Change is in the air...

Changes are taking place in the household and the first to arrive is our new helper - Arlene and in less than 2 months' time, Kayden's little bro will be making his appearance. Along with the increase in headcount, a 7-seater vehicle will be required to make everyone feel comfortable during outings and trips. And finally, we also paid the deposit and registered him for his N1 class which will commence in Jan 2009. Sigh....and we thought Kayden is still a baby!

It has been a rather trying 2 weeks for all of us as we welcome Arlene to the household. Much time was spent in settling her down and to orientate her to Kayden's daily routines and meanwhile, we have to be at his highness's beck and call (especially the papa) and take over the bathing, feeding and cleaning up. And for the record, there was just this 1 day when K decided to "bake" 3 chocolate cakes at 3 different timings and hence, he kept his papa real busy!

As this tiring week comes to a close, we noticed that the little boy has started opening up to Arlene. This is definitely a good sign and we are keeping our fingers crossed that somehow and sometime soon, both of them will make a connection and become fast friends.
I'm gonna stay cool amidst all the changes
