Welcoming 2011

2010 was good but we are hoping for an even better 2011. For starters, K has moved on to K1 and T is starting his playgroup classes on Wednesday (5 Jan) too. We hope 2011 will be a year full of joyful learning for both our little pre-schoolers as they continue to have fun as they develop and grow. K is already a little chatterbox where we find him hard to stop. His little inquisitive mind prompts him to ask lots of questions as he picks up new pieces of information along the way. He is engaged in a love-hate relationship with T - loves the company but hates his wilfulness. Like any other kid his age, he can be real cheeky and stubborn at times but we can reason with him and he is generally well-behaved.

T is in this terrible twos phase whereby he can be completely unreasonable and mischievous and yet, adorable. He needs to be engaged all the time and we have to instill discipline before he turns into a monster. Frustrations there might be, but we are also enjoying the process as he picks up new words, starts stringing words together, parroting the older brother, learning to sing, etc.

May the new year bring us more fun, more joy while we all stay healthy and keep the viruses at bay!
