新年快乐!

新年快乐!恭喜发财!

The new year has finally arrived after weeks of anticipation and preparation. Kayden has long rehearsed the above new year greeting at home and he executed them effortlessly during our house-visiting, complete with the hand gesture and 2 oranges. Like any other kid during CNY, he munched on the new year goodies (especially nuts) as we moved from house to house and enjoyed himself tremendously with the company of his cousins and little aunties & uncles.

Little Tristan is still clueless but has been blessed and carried (passed from arm to arm across all age-groups) by so many uncles and aunties during the few days of visiting.
We were all tired out after the few days of visiting. Although the kids did manage to have their afternoon naps, we have been hanging out late and reached home only around 10pm during the past few days. This is more of an exception rather then the norm as the Chinese New Year is a once in a year affair. And now that the visiting is almost over.... its time to do the sums and tally the red packet collections!
